Placed midway between the city centre and the Slave Road, the guesthouse is also well connected to the main road that leads to Diamantina's historic district and nearby towns.

Rooms at Pousada President are practical, with marble floors and are equipped with TV, fridge and fan. Some rooms feature a balcony and a beautiful view of the Crystal’s Mountain.

A shared TV room is also available. Essentially for travelers staying in standard rooms, a kitchen with cleaning service is provided. Guest also have access to a full self-service laundry room.

Breakfast includes a selection of juices and coffee accompanied by breads, cakes and fruits, and is served from 7am to 10am. The wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is excellent and free.
